Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward-Hastings! We have volunteer opportunities for just about everyone. Whether it is making a phone call to thank a donor, working on a committee, building a house, sorting ReStore merchandise, providing a nutritious lunch or selecting a family, there are many avenues through which volunteers can help to make Habitat PEH a success!
Volunteering at Habitat for Humanity PEH gives you an opportunity to get involved and share your talents to achieve its very worthy cause – building homes and building hope.
How much time you volunteer is up to you, the minimum commitment is one day for the build site, less for other events and at least five 4-hour shifts (20 hours) for the ReStore.
Volunteers must have the following abilities to work on our construction sites or in our ReStore:

All Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward-Hastings volunteers are required to take Safety, Health, Environment (SHE) Training before working on the build site or in our ReStore.
This is a 23 minute video instructs all Build and ReStore volunteers on SHE policies and this training is valid for 1 year.
After having viewed the safety video, ALL volunteers are required to take the Safety Quiz.
