The ReStore is HST-FREE! That’s right, the rumours are true, all of your purchases are tax-exempt for even more savings. The price on the sticker is what you pay! The ReStore offers new and used affordable materials for renovators, homeowners, small landlords, cottagers, and others.
What do we carry?
New and used building materials such as doors, windows, kitchen cabinets, lighting, plumbing, flooring, furniture, décor and household items and a whole lot more! Our stock changes daily so please visit our store often.
What items are acceptable donations?
- Antique hardware, fittings and moldings
- Architectural columns, mantles, antique moldings
- Cabinets, vanities and countertops
- Electrical devices and fixtures in “AS NEW” working condition
- Exterior siding made of wood or vinyl
- Garden tools, implements, structures, shovels, wheelbarrows, sheds
- Appliances
- Hand and power tools
- Hardware: hinges, handles, knobs, covers (nails, nuts, bolts, screws)
- Hardwood flooring, engineered laminates, tiles (ceramic, porcelain, vinyl, etc.)
- Insulation in completely wrapped bundles, no loose insulation
- Lighting fixtures, interior and exterior (hard wired and plug in)
- Paint and stains (must be unopened)
- Slab, profile doors, solid and antique doors
- Plumbing fixtures/fittings, no chips or stains
- Plumbing tubing and pipes, (copper and galvanized)
- Roofing shingles, barrier paper and membranes
- Sealants and caulking in unopened packages
- Shelving units of both wood and metal shutters
- Vinyl Clad Windows, all types, complete units
- Wood, molding, plywood, OFB and MDF – MUST BE DENAILED and in good condition
- Paving stones, bricks, cinder blocks
- Hard furniture, no missing pieces, no bowing, no damage
- Soft furniture, no stains, rips, odors or excessive wear
- Automotive parts
- Sports equipment (treadmill, canoe, bike, etc.)
- Magazines
- Used clothing
- Corded blinds
- Electrical devices/fixtures in poor or inoperable condition (metal may be recycled)
- Glass or mirrors that do not have frames
- Hazardous materials (flammables, acids, solvents, pesticides)
- Paper or cardboard products
- Plumbing fixtures that are chipped or stained
- Dirty, cracked or coloured toilets
- Scrap wood
- Waste and trash
- Unassembled furniture of any kind
Where does our inventory come from?
Businesses donate new items, including excess inventory, ends-of-line, and discontinued or display pieces. Individuals donate items they no longer need such as kitchen cabinets and countertops, building supplies, tools, furniture, household goods, appliances, electronics, sporting equipment, outdoor furniture, kids equipment and family estates.

Habitat for Humanity has diverted thousands of pounds of batteries from landfill. Diverting hazardous heavy metals such as mercury and lead from our landfills. Preserving our natural resources by reducing the need to mine these precious materials.

Delivery
For your convenience we do offer curbside/garage delivery for a fee dependent upon geographical area. Delivery times will be scheduled based on driver availability. For further information you may visit or call the ReStore at 631-962-7526.
