Habitat for Humanity is well known throughout non-profits, as being a fantastic place to volunteer! Whether you’re filling a few hours of free time, gathering hours needed to graduate, or gathering hours for your Habitat Home, we have people passing through constantly, and we could not be more thankful for them.
The volunteers that have aided Habitat for Humanity PEH, have done a wonderful job helping sort donations, loading customer purchases in vehicles, & teaching our staff new things, every day.
The volunteers we have are multi-talented. We have people who can fix anything mechanical, people who can fix anything electrical, and others who just love to help in any way they can. We have had volunteers who brought snowblowers back to life, and others who have shown us how to revive furniture ! All this extra knowledge has been very beneficial to our team, as it allows our volunteers to teach our staff something new!
April 16th-22nd, 2023 is Volunteer Appreciation Week. In an effort to show our loyal volunteers how much we appreciate them, we have arranged for all kinds of perks! From coffee in the morning, to lunch on April 18th, followed with an iHop breakfast on April 19th!
