Military personnel from CFB Trenton have been giving some much needed support to a home under construction in Trenton.
Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward-Hastings welcomed Commander Colonel Colin Keiver, Chief Warrant Officer Darcy Elder and other officials to the agency’s latest build site, at 143 Bay Street, which is being built for a well-deserving Trenton family.
They were on site for three days over the past week as a continued show of Eight Wing’s commitment to their community and to Habitat’s mission of eliminating the cycle of poverty through homeownership.
The men and women of CFB Trenton have provided over two-thousand hours of labour to the organization since 2014, installing trusses, framing, drywalling, and doing other work.
